Exploring the Western Desert off the Baharia Road toward Fayoum...

So this past weekend a friend, who we will call "Polar Bear" was in Cairo... Decided I would take him out to the desert and show him some fun... Had the hope he would get hooked and get a Jeep once he was here.... I think it worked...

Here is a short video.... In the last scene the sand dune looks really small. Its actually at least 3 stories high and more than 45* slope. Pay attention to how small the Jeep looks at the bottom of the dune...
